G Adventures wins big at WTM
Each year, Canadian Travel Press, as an official media partner of World Travel Market (WTM), nominates three Canadian companies to be short-listed for one of the show’s prestigious Global Awards.
A panel of independent judges then picks a winner which, this year, is G Adventures.

The judges were impressed by the fact that G Adventures has been a favourite of Canadian retailers in the adventure operator category of our annual Agents’ Choice Awards survey ever since 2008.
And they also responded positively to the G Adventures mantra that travel is an exchange not a commodity and that, as a social enterprise, the planet is the product and its social and environmental welfare is fundamentally important.
Additionally, non-profit sister organization Planaterra, which currently supports 75 projects around the world aimed at helping local communities around the world earn an income from tourism, resonated with the three judges.
