My travel style:
Relaxed, adventurous, nature-lover.

Why I chose to study travel and tourism:
Travel has always played a huge role in my life, from family vacations to sports trips. I looked forward to getting on that plane or packing up the truck for my next great adventure. As I got older my passion grew stronger, and it came as no surprise to family, friends and myself that I would go into tourism in my post-secondary studies.

My greatest professional strength:
I am very organized and detail-oriented, I love to make lists to ensure I stay on top of things! My dream job:I would love to combine my passion for the tourism industry with my love for my hometown of Labrador City, NL and work in developing tourism for the area. I want to be a part of developing new tourism ventures and helping tourists make long-lasting memories in the region.

One thing I can’t travel without:
My journal. I love to log favourite places from restaurants to museums, local shops and things to do.

My next trip:
We’re planning a great big family road trip to Prince Edward Island!

My greatest achievement (so far):
Aside from being the Baxter Student Ambassador for Algonquin College, one of my greatest achievements was being the 2018 Teen Ambassador for my Community Winter Carnival.

Scandinavia

Best travel advice I’ve received:
Don’t wait. Travel as soon as you can, and travel as much as you can. Maybe I love this advice so much because it was exactly what I wanted to hear, but it’s something I take very seriously. We can never be sure what the future will bring, and we must never wait to do the things we love.

On my bucket list:
Scandinavia is at the top of my bucket list. I am hoping that sometime soon I can make this dream a reality!
