Family encounters from G Adventures

G Adventures has launched a program of over 30 family holidays on five continents, designed for families to spend quality time together and learn more about the world while travelling in a fun way. To mark the launch of the new program, children and adults can save $150 per person when booking by April 30, 2013 for travel in 2013. There’s broomstick riding in the UK, a visit to a ninja museum in Japan, surf lessons in Costa Rica, horseback riding with paniolo cowboys in Hawaii and musical instrument making in Cuba are just a few of the experiences families will be able to share. G Adventures’ innovation manager, Alistair Butchers says the small group adventure specialist has branched out in to the family market after noticing its loyal travellers are starting their own families and looking to raise their children as travellers too. The trips have varying minimum ages from two to 12 years with activities matched to the appropriate age group. Many trips are G Adventures “comfort level” meaning accommodation is family-friendly with swimming pools and adjoining rooms available in most locations. The new G Adventures family program features destinations that include Argentina, Belgium, Borneo, Brazil, Canada, China, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Iceland, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Peru, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay and Vietnam.
