Hope Is Knocking

For TTAND’s Friisdahl There Is Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Flemming Friisdahl has been talking to his agents, and the founder of The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) told Canadian Travel Press that: “A very common theme I have been hearing since the new year is the customer is wanting to travel and is now talking to the agents and this has given many of our partner agents the boost they needed to show them travel will be back.”

In fact, he explained that there most certainly are ‘sales happening’ and a’s we all expected these departures are for late 2021 and into 2022.”

TTAND’s boss told CTP that: “From our sales report, we are seeing sales for all categories but some of the bigger volume sales are wedding groups, river cruise and cruise. We are still dealing with refunds on files like the remainder part of the winter that was cancelled. Agents are staying busy — from taking on temporary jobs, calling their clients – to staying on top of everything from supplier to programs from CRB.”
