Le Boat Dedicated To Safe Travel In 2021

Le Boat has been awarded the #SafeTravels Stamp by the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO).

The Safe Travels Stamp is an international symbol designed to allow travellers to recognize governments and companies around the world, which have adopted standardized health and hygiene protocols – so consumers can experience ‘Safe Travels.’

Lisa McLean, North American sales and marketing manager for Le Boat, said that: “Le Boat has worked hard during COVID-19 to ensure the safety of our guests by providing the highest standard of cleanliness and safety.”

McLean continued: “All of our global bases have implemented an extra COVID-19 Safety Policy that outlines specific cleaning and social distancing measures and it’s nice to have our efforts recognized by a respected organization such as TIAO.”

As industry leaders in luxury houseboat vacations both in Europe and in Canada, Le Boat has stepped up in these uncertain times to make guest safety a priority and offer a viable option for families and individuals to explore and vacation securely. The receipt of the #SafeTravels Stamp further cements this dedication to their customers and recognizes their efforts.

TIAO president and CEO, Beth Potter commented: “We are delighted Le Boat has been awarded the #SafeTravels Stamp. Across Canada, tourism businesses –  big and small – are doing all they can to offer Canadians the perfect vacation. More and more Canadians are looking closer to home to escape from the challenges of the pandemic and are rediscovering their own provinces.”

Potter pointed out that: “When they see that the Safe Travels Stamp has been awarded to the operator they’re planning to visit, they will be reassured that the highest standards of health and safety are being upheld, and that global health protocols issued by the World Travel and Tourism Council are being adhered to. Giving travellers confidence in their choice to travel.”
