LOT INAUGURATES TORONTO DREAMLINER SERVICE

LOT Polish Airlines will inaugurate new 787 Dreamliner non-stop service from Toronto to Warsaw today (June 7) and will make aviation history as the first European Airline to operate the Dreamliner from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. LOT’s inbound Dreamliner flight from Warsaw is scheduled to touch down at Pearson at 8:15 p.m. and upon arrival will be welcomed with a traditional water salute. The first LOT Dreamliner trip from Toronto will depart at 10:20 p.m., and arrive the next day in Warsaw at 12:55 p.m. The flights were previously operated with B767s. LOT’s Dreamliner has 18 seats in Elite Club (business class), 21 in Premium Club (premium economy) and 213 seats in economy class. “Toronto will receive three weekly Dreamliner flights in June, operating on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and daily Dreamliner flights as of July for the remainder of the summer. In the fall, LOT will operate five flights a week, versus three times per week service last year,”noted Tomasz Dakowski, LOT Polish Airlines director of sales. (http://www.LOT.com)
