Agents will now see something new when they go to book a vacation package in their favourite booking platform. FunSun Vacations (FSV) is now offering packaged vacations in the traditional ITC environment that feature more choice and greater flexibility. Following a successful soft launch with Thomas Cook Canada’s internal retail network, FSV packages are now available on Sabre Vacations and Sirev, and will be opened up in Galileo, Amadeus and B2C sites next week. “By leveraging our unrivalled airline and hotel supplier relationships, this new initiative enables us to take full advantage of the ITC market through a different, more innovative approach,” explained Dean Moore, CEO, Thomas Cook North America, parent company to FSV. “It brings more flexible alternatives and dynamic pricing to the traditional vacation package market under the FunSun Vacations brand.” Agents earn 8% commission on every FSV package booking, in addition to earning full commission on the surcharge (similar to sister-company Sunquest) and 575 TC Loyalty Points per room and 287 points per single.
