NCL appoints Katie Kania to senior director of agency sales, North America
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has appointed Katie Kania to senior director of agency sales, North America, following the appointment of Derek Lloyd to vice president of Strategic and National Accounts.
Katie will lead the Company’s field-based sales organization, working closely with travel advisors and agency partners across North America.
“Since joining NCL in 2019, Katie has been an incredible asset to the sales team,” said John Chernesky, Senior Vice President of North America Sales. “With her deep knowledge of the product and her impressive strategic planning, I have full confidence that Katie will step into this role successfully and continue to expand the positive impact of our sales’ team across North America.”
With more than 10 years of travel industry expertise and most recently serving as Director of Sales for Canada at Norwegian Cruise Line, Kania will continue fostering the relationships within the travel partner community.

In addition to leading her new team of sales directors and business development Managers throughout North America and working closely with travel partners, Kania will also be developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan to align with NCL’s growth strategy.
Kania will be reporting to John Chernesky, senior vice president of North America Sales.
