Juan Munoz of Ecuador-based Latin Trails was in Toronto Friday, promoting the various vacation experiences his company can offer, including Galapagos cruises. The company has four yachts that each holds 16 people for the sailings. “The Galapagos Islands are something special,” Munoz says. “You can be so close to sea lions and penguins.” Visitors might find curious sea lions swimming alongside them while they snorkel in ocean water, he adds. Latin Trails also offers cruises in the Ecuadorean Amazon and jungle lodge stays, along with tours of the Ecuadorean Andes region and Peru.
