The 15th Anniversary of the European Union Film Festival (EUFF) drew to a successful conclusion last week in Toronto. The German movie “Ballon” rose to the greatest heights and was named the viewers choice, top movie at this year’s festival. This film was chosen for Germany’s 2019 entry as it helped recognize the 30th anniversary of the fall of the German wall dividing East and West Germany. The travel industry had a high profile at this year’s festival with the major sponsor Trafalgar Tours, Lot Polish Airlines, Flanders and Lufthansa. Baxter Media were once again media sponsors.
