The Saint Lucia Tourism Board awarded its first annual Piton Awards to top Canadian travel agent sellers at a special luncheon ceremony at the posh Hazelton Hotel in Toronto last week.

On hand for the event were Canadian regional manager Alison Theodore, along with director of tourism Louis Lewis and Consul General Michael Willius.

Amongst the winners shown here are Chris Akester, Collacutt Travel; Danny Almon, Almon Travel; Gillian Gervais, Marlin Travel; Gary Hill, Uniglobe Adventure House Travel; Jairus Maus, Tripcentral; Nancy Miklian, Travel Sensations; and Carmelina Pirrocco-Crawford, Halton Trafalgar Travel.

The winners received $500 cash, 500 marketing dollars for their agency; plus, thanks to awards sponsors, two nights each at Anse Chastenet and The Body Holiday or Rendezvous resorts.
