Southern California-based travel agents recently had an opportunity to enjoy a “Winter Experiences Familiarization” tour in Alberta. Hosted by Travel Alberta and WestJet, the trip featured visits to Edmonton where the agents were treated to a guided tour of Elk Island National Park and a cross country ski lesson at Strathcona Wilderness Centre, Jasper National Park, and Banff National Park where the Lake Louise Gondola provided breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountains at the Lake Louise Ski Resort and where the agents enjoyed an exhilarating ride on snow tubes.
