Home RVC-2016 RVC Today Newsletter – April 7
intro4

Delegates to Rendez-vous Canada 2016 will be spending most of their work days within the walls of the Palais de Congres de Montreal convention centre. So it’s good to know that this top conference facility has earned international recognition for excellence. It was shortlisted for the title of World’s Best Congress Centre in 2015 by the International Association of Convention Centres.

Not far from the Palais de Congres de Montreal is the wonderful district of Old Montreal, or Vieux-Montreal. Its cobbled streets and sturdy grey stone buildings echo days past in Montreal’s history. Visitors can easily stroll these lanes, ducking into shops, fashion boutiques, restaurants and bistros to soak in the atmosphere.

Old Montreal is an unhurried corner of the city, and offers a welcome respite for busy conventioneers who might be seeking a leisurely outing, or an active night out with colleagues in a fine dining room or busy tavern.

The RVC Today newsletter is a sponsor-driven communication piece that is designed to educate RVC delegates on important aspects of the Canadian tourism industry. Watch out for RVC Today each week as the start of Rendez-vous 2016 approaches – and after the event as well.
