Softvoyage Inc. has introduced Packages+, incorporating several enhancements to the classic vacation packages’ distribution and shopping solutions of Softvoyage, designed to help travel agents be more efficient and better compete. Whether advising single travellers or entire families, agents will find improved capabilities to find, compare and book the right products from any of the major Canadian tour operators. According to officials, in addition to supporting single and multi-occupancy shopping, Packages+ offers better filtering, and sorting capabilities, as well as enhanced information and workflows, including the Monarc.ca hotel review scoring system which, in addition to providing real travellers’ feedback on the destinations considered, enables agents to automatically send agency-branded Monarc’s satisfaction surveys upon their customers’ return. Packages+ is currently live for SIREV independent travel agent subscribers as well as other Softvoyage’s travel agency chains and consortium customers leveraging white-label versions of SIREV for their group. Online travel marketers using Softvoyage’s B2C solutions to power their web site will also soon have an option to upgrade to Packages+.
