SOLO PROMO: Crystal adds ways to save

Crystal Cruises has added more than a dozen new itineraries to its “Sole Occupancy”savings promotion for 2013. Offering single supplements of just 10% for a deluxe stateroom, the exceptionally low single occupancy fares are now available on 26 total 2013 Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony voyages around the globe: in the Mediterranean, Baltic, South America/Caribbean, Western Europe, Black Sea, North Cape, British Isles, eastern Canada and trans-ocean. Low solo supplements are available on seven- to 18-day cruises from June to December. “Crystal has always had one of the lowest supplement rates for sole occupancy of a double stateroom, and, thus, have always had a high number of ‘solo’ guests — who have especially responded to this promotion,”says Jack Anderson, senior vice-president, marketing and sales. “By opening up these savings on even more cruises, we’re sure to welcome even more independent travelers into the Crystal family, be it those traveling alone who appreciate our on-board warmth and camaraderie, or groups travelling together wherein everyone wants the comfort and privacy of their own stateroom.”Among the amenities Crystal provides for solo travellers are “Ambassador Host”companions for dinner and dancing on every sailing, assigned dinner seating in the Crystal Dining Room, and “Table for 8,”which brings individuals together for shared evening dining in the specialty restaurants. All-inclusive, “Sole Occupancy”promotional fares begin at US$2,865 p.p. if booked by April 30. (http://www.crystalcruises.com)
