Air Canada Vacations has launched its new Passion brochure, featuring its 2013-2014 Mexico and Caribbean Collection. The new brochure features a host of destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean, along with flights operated by both Air Canada and its new partner airline, Air Canada rouge. This winter, ACV will be adding a new flight out of Halifax to Santa Clara and a second weekly flight out of Toronto to Huatulco. In addition, capacity has been significantly increased on popular destinations such as Jamaica from Toronto and Cancun from Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto. A number of ACV destinations, featured in its new Passion brochure, have been converted from Air Canada to Air Canada rouge flights. Air Canada rouge will be operating out of Toronto to destinations such as Great Exuma, Liberia, San Jose, Cayo Coco, Holguin, Santa Clara, Varadero, Curacao, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, La Romana, Samana, Grenada, Kingston, Montego Bay, Cancun, Huatulco, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and St. Kitts using its Airbus 319 and Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. Passion also showcases the Air Canada rouge brand, highlighting its Mexico and Caribbean routes and its new slogan, Vacation Ahead, designed to express all of the advantages it offers as part of the Air Canada family, and capturing the universal desire to look forward to a vacation. Eamonn Ferrin, president and COO of ACV, said: “We’re very eager to introduce this year’s brochure as it is packed with outstanding product and savings and proves that we are set apart from our competitors. Now that we’re working with two airline partners, Air Canada and Air Canada rouge, we’ll have the largest selection of destinations, including our non-stop flights to St. Kitts and Great Exuma, the only Canadian tour operator to offer these options. We have never been in a better position. Brighter getaways are here to stay.” Nino Montagnese, vice-president sales and marketing for ACV, observed: “We’re excited to be introducing Air Canada rouge as a dedicated leisure carrier on select winter routes. With Air Canada rouge, vacations will truly start on board Air Canada rouge’s aircraft. With exceptional training in customer service for the rouge crew as well as uncompromising safety and a relaxed in-flight environment, we’re confident that our new leisure carrier will be the leading choice for leisure travel. Vacation ahead with Air Canada rouge.” And passengers who book and pay in full by Oct. 31, 2013 will save $400 per couple and $100 per child (2 to 12 years), plus they’ll also receive 3,000 bonus Aeroplan Miles per member. Combine with hotel and resort discounts and save up to an extra $5860 per couple.
