TL Network Canada Continues To Grow

Despite Challenging Times, Group Adds 20 New Agencies In 2020

TL Network Canada continues to grow, expanding its Canadian membership with the addition of 20 new agencies in 2020.

Christine James, TL Network’s Canadian vice president attributes the continued increase during a very challenging year to a very targeted approach to membership growth as well as to innovative virtual training opportunities and enhancements to award-winning tools, which are important for attracting new members and driving high quality leads.  TL Network continues to be the largest seller of luxury travel, cruises, river cruises and tours in North America.

Said James: “We are continuously providing our member agencies with industry-leading technology offerings and enhanced product which helps them grow their bottom line and stand out from the competition.”

She continued: “Our goal is to always provide our members with new programs and the latest enhancements on our existing tools, and that includes having exceptional training, support and strategic relationships to position them for ultimate success.”

James said that: “On the education front, we continue to raise the bar by offering on-demand lessons, webinars and events like ‘Canada Connect’ and Bridge to the Future, which were specifically geared towards helping our members throughout the pandemic. Additionally, we hosted several workshops this past year that took place both virtually and in person to help advance our members with a wide variety of learning options.”

New Member agencies joining TL Network Canada this year include: Abby Travels Ltd, BC; AirBond Travel Services Inc., ON; Astor Travel Services, ON; Canada One Travel, MB; Celebration Travel, ON; Custom Vacations, ON; iLand Luxury Travel, BC; Immersion Travel, MB; Own Your Day Travel, BC; Own Your Day Travel, ON; Palipad Travel And Services, AB; Resfeber Travels, AB; SGF Travel & Tours, NS; Travel 3000 Inc, ON and Tripcentral.ca, ON.

Paul Foster, vice president of Tripcentral.ca in Hamilton, ON, said that: “Tripcentral.ca became a proud member of the TL Network Canada organization in 2020 and has never looked back.”

Foster noted that: “We have had such tremendous support from Christine James and her team who are always there to assist us when needed. Additionally, TL Network’s superb cruise groups program has everything our agency is looking for. We now have so much more to offer, including value prices for our customers and good commissions for our agents. We look forward to continuing a successful relationship with TL Network Canada, especially once we see some post-COVID return of market.”

Linda Barber, Owner of iLand Luxury Travel in Nelson, BC, has been in the luxury leisure sales industry for over 20 years and recently joined TL Network Canada because her agency recognized the need to align themselves with a large agency organization that was affordable and had dynamic staff, like Business Development Manager, Western Canada Sue Urie.

Said Barber: “We switched from another large high-end host agency because we could not afford the high rates and monthly fees, and this is the best decision we could have made. TL Network offers so many value-added benefits, including their exclusive member web portal Agent Universe, which is so easy to navigate. It has a robust website that provides great training, booking tools and supplier information. Other benefits include advanced technology tools like CruisePro which enables us to easily search, compare, sell, book, and manage our clients’ cruise vacations – all in one system. We highly recommend being a part of this valuable agency organization.”
