Tryall Club, Jamaica temporarily closed to fully assess property

The Tryall Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica is advising that it is temporarily closed which it conducts a full assessment of the property.

In a statement, the property extended its “deepest concerns and support” to everyone who has been affected by Hurricane Melissa.

“The safety of our guests, staff, and community remains our top priority. As the storm has now passed, we are awaiting further information on the extent of damage affecting both our resort and surrounding areas, including critical access points such as local roads and Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport, which sustained severe damage and is currently closed,” the property said in a statement.

And then it advised that: “At this time, The Tryall Club is temporarily closed as we conduct a full assessment of the property, our villas, and the surrounding infrastructure. Our team is working diligently to determine a timeline for reopening, and we will share updates as they become available.”

The statement also said that for those who have a booking at the property between now and late November, they should contact [email protected].

And it continued that The Tryall Club team will be reaching out directly to all impacted guests to discuss next steps, including rescheduling or other arrangements once conditions stabilize and travel routes are restored.

“For now, our focus remains on the safety and wellbeing of The Tryall Club team and on supporting the people of Jamaica. We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time and will continue to provide updates in the coming days,” the statement continued.
