Toronto On BA’s ‘Must-See’ List
British Airways has unveiled its “must-see” destinations for 2019, along with some highly anticipated events and new routes that it will be operating. Hotspots include Las Vegas, Osaka and the Seychelles, plus Durban, South Africa is on BA's “must-see” list in 2019. Other destinations on the list include Cologne and Kos as British Airway's is set to launch direct flights to both of those destinations. WestJet has reported its September 2018 traffic results with a load factor of 79.2% -- a decrease of 1.2 percentage points year over year. Revenue passenger miles (RPMs), or traffic, increased 9.7% year over year, while capacity, measured in available seat miles (ASMs), grew 11.3% over the same period. The airline welcomed an additional 137,000 guests in September, a year-over-year increase of 7.1%. Year-to-date traffic growth continues to outpace capacity additions. Sunwing Takes Off To Cienfuegos
Sunwing is expanding its offerings to Cuba this winter with the addition of a seasonal flight to Cienfuegos, which is located on the island's southern coast. Direct flights from Toronto will operate on Mondays between Dec. 17, 2018 and April 22, 2019 inclusive.
