Top executives from the carrier were in Toronto last night (May 24) to celebrate with their travel agency partners, the launch of four new routes to destinations in Argentina, Croatia, Portugal and Romania.
The new, non-stop routes include Toronto-Buenos Aires; Toronto-Zagreb; Toronto-Porto; and Toronto-Bucharest.

Sunwing Airlines has taken the keys, so to speak, of its newest acquisition with the delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The aircraft - which will be flown from Seattle to Toronto later today (Friday) - is the first of four new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft acquired by the company as part of a lease agreement concluded with Air Lease Corporation in late 2014. This summer, Lufthansa Group passengers will be able to book an Economy “Light” fare on routes to North America served by Lufthansa, SWISS, Brussels Airlines and Austrian Airlines.
At the basic rate, the new fare is the least expensive option for price-conscious passengers travelling with carry-on luggage and who do not require ticket flexibility.

Air Canada is upbeat about the June start of its year-round, nonstop Vancouver-Melbourne service, which will be the third Australian city to see Air Canada aircraft touch down.
The airline held a Toronto gathering Thursday to promote the service, with Air Canada's Marc Roy saying the carrier will use a B787 Dreamliner on the route, and labelling it an “amazing aircraft.”
The route will initially see three flights a week.
