Air Canada welcomes customer service employees ratification of new collective agreement
Air Canada is welcoming the ratification of a new collective bargaining agreement with Unifor, representing approximately 6,000 contact centre, customer relations, concierge, airport in-terminal and customer journey management employees at Air Canada. The four-year collective agreement is in effect until Feb. 28, 2030. Canada-Spain strengthen connectivity with new Iberia Toronto-Madrid service
Iberia will launch its new direct route between Toronto and Madrid on June 13, further strengthening connectivity between Canada and Spain and expanding travel options for customers on both sides of the Atlantic. The new route will operate five times per week — Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays — and offer more than 37,000 seats during the summer season. Porter takes off to Turks and Caicos
Porter Airlines is adding another destination to its sun network with service to Providenciales (PLS), Turks and Caicos. The new non-stop flights are available from Toronto Pearson (YYZ), five times weekly, beginning Nov. 6, and Ottawa (YOW), twice weekly, beginning Dec. 17. Turks and Caicos is the fifth new sun destination to be added to Porter’s growing winter seasonal network, joining recently announced Aruba, San Jose (Costa Rica), Montego Bay and Los Cabos.
