TICO Issues SkyGreece Advice
The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) is advising consumers who have purchased SkyGreece Airlines travel services from a registered Ontario travel agent and who did not receive their travel services and have not been reimbursed that they can file a claim with the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund. Tropical Storm Erika Could Affect Punta Cana Flights
Air Canada and Air Canada Express are advising that flights to, from or connecting through Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, may be delayed or cancelled tomorrow (Aug. 28) due to a tropical storm, Erika. SkyGreece Temporarily Ceasing Operations

WestJet has ushered in a new era in its 19-year history with today's arrival of the first of four Boeing 767-300 extended range aircraft in Calgary. SkyGreece Airlines' problems continue. The carrier announced more flight cancellations this week, including yesterday's (Aug. 26) Athens-Zagreb-Toronto flight and today's (Aug. 27) Toronto-Budapest-Thessaloniki and Thessaloniki-Budapest-Toronto flights. Last week, the carrier delayed all of its flights for 24 hours.
