Low-cost European carrier Eurowings is Aeroplan’s newest airline partner. Eurowings is based in Düsseldorf, Germany and is wholly owned by the Lufthansa Group. Emirates has launched a new codeshare and lounge agreement with Alaska Airlines. Tourism officials in Mexico report that Puerto Vallarta is fully operational following Hurricane Patricia, with 100% of its hotel and restaurant facilities open, as well as its International Airport (PVR), marina, cruise port and convention centre. Etihad Airways has won its bid for an injunction and is welcoming the ruling by the Administrative Court of Braunschweig which allows it to continue operating all of its codeshare flights with airberlin to destinations in Europe, the US and the UAE. WestJet's first Boeing 767-300 extended-range aircraft made its inaugural flight yesterday, departing Toronto Pearson International en route to Calgary International Airport.
