Westerners will have an easier time to get to Loreto as WestJet will offer weekly nonstop seasonal service from Calgary International Airport (YYC) to Baja Sur Loreto starting Nov. 3. Flights can be booked through www.westjet.com. Running through April 26, the nonstop flights will operate once a week and depart Calgary at 10:25 AM local time and arrive in Loreto by 1:25 pm local time. Bahamas Tourism Performance Outpaces Projections
That’s the sounds of celebration you hear as the Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation reports that tourism performance has outpaced projections for the first seven months of 2023, with The Bahamas recording more than 5.89 million arrivals from January through the end of July. Current tourism performance puts the country well on the way to closing out the year at 8 million plus visitors.
