United Airlines has Cuba on its radar with the airline submitting a formal application to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) for permission to provide service from four of its largest US gateway cities – Newark/New York, Houston, Washington, D.C. and Chicago – to Havana's José Martí International Airport. The Honokaa People’s Theatre is a classical revival building that has served a focal point of community life since opening in 1930.
