IATA has called for the development of a comprehensive policy for aviation aligned with the Indian government's stated intention to make it easier to do business in India. A group of top executives from the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) were in Canada this week meeting with key suppliers and airline partners as the island gears up for the upcoming winter 2015-2016 season. BTMI's chairman, Alvin Jemmott led the group, which also included BTMI's CEO William Griffith, its director of marketing, Robert Chase and director Canada, Peter Mayers.

Mexico appears to be an unstoppable force in this country's tourism market, with the country continuing to post increases in the number of vacationing Canadians, says the CEO of the Mexico Tourism Board.

For the second year, Europe Airpost will offer service from Halifax to Paris and, new for 2015 the route will include a stop in Dublin, Ireland.
The Paris route was launched last summer.
