San Diego Beer Week returns Nov. 1-10 for a 10-day celebration of local craft beer and San Diego’s thriving brewing culture. Comox Airport Open During Airshow
The Comox Airshow is returning after an eight-year hiatus, and Comox Valley Airport will remain open during the event. The airshow will run Aug. 17. But the airport is advising passengers to get to the airport early for flights Aug. 16-18, to give allowances for show preparations and teardown. WestJet, Central Mountain Air and Pacific Coastal are all advising early check-ins - ie. two hours before departure. Aug. 17 will be more challenging, due to crowds and traffic at the airshow.
