Those who want to do their part in cleaning up the growing debris on BC's west coast, resulting from the Japan tsunami in 2011, can join volunteers in a beach clean-up effort on May 10-12. HISTORIC TRIBAL HOUSE RENOVATED
Chief Shakes Tribal House, a historic monument on Shakes Island in the downtown harbour of Wrangell, AK, was recently renovated due to deteriorating conditions and will be rededicated in early May.
