NYC hosts revised record 50.5 million visitors
New York City mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and NYC & Company, New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, report that the city ended the year with a new record 50.5 million visitors, slightly higher than the 50.2 million estimated visitors announced in December. NYC & Company also estimates that the city welcomed 40.2 million domestic visitors and 10.3 million international visitors. Amelia Island invites visitors to go for a ride
The Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau in Florida has unveiled a new bicycling guide for 2012. The full-colour brochure provides information about bike rentals and off-road cycling, as well as a trail map showing where casual and advanced cyclists can best explore northeast Florida's Amelia Island on two wheels.
