BEACHES IN TURKS TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE
Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages and Spa will temporarily close beginning Sept. 1 to undertake a wide-ranging enhancement program. The resort will reopen on Oct. 19. Those who want to do their part in cleaning up the growing debris on BC's west coast, resulting from the Japan tsunami in 2011, can join volunteers in a beach clean-up effort on May 10-12.
