Aqua Hotels & Resorts will welcome the New Year with the addition of its 24th hotel in the Hawaii market. On Jan. 1, Aqua will assume management of the Waikiki Joy Hotel, a boutique property in the heart of Waikiki. Moon Palace resort adds ‘dolphinarium’
Palace Resorts - which has five-star, all-inclusive resorts on Mexico's Caribbean coast - has added a "dolphinarium"at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. Part of the resort's multi-million dollar enhancement project, the attraction is managed by trainers from Dolphin Discovery, members of the International Marine Animal Trainers Association, with facilities in Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Puerto Aventuras and throughout the Caribbean. Delta Chelsea to change hands
Great Eagle Holdings Limited, owners of Toronto's Delta Chelsea Hotel, reports that Delta Hotels and Resorts will stop managing the property as of July 1, 2013. AMResorts celebrated the official opening of Secrets Aura Cozumel on Dec. 15, a development that marks AMResorts' entry into Cozumel, Mexico.
