In a salute to its travel agent partners, Air Canada Vacations is offering 16% commission on cruise-only bookings made online from Oct. 11to Oct. 25, 2016. As well, agents booking clients on ACV’s all-in-one cruise packages until Oct. 31, 2016 will earn 12%. Clients that book a cruise package by this date will save $175 per person and only pay a $100 deposit. Sunwing took quick action to repatriate hundreds of Canadian travellers, sending two special, rescue flights to Freeport, Grand Bahama and Nassau yesterday. The passengers were returned to Toronto and Montreal, escaping the wrath of Hurricane Matthew.
