Air Canada Launches Coast-To-Coast Flight Pass
Air Canada has launched the Coast-to-Coast Flight Pass, a prepaid package of one-way flights – which is available for purchase until July 27, 2021. Flight Pass packages available for purchase include four, eight or twenty credit passes valid for one, two or five travellers, respectively. The pass is good for travel until July 27, 2022; and with Flight Pass, travellers are able to book, change, or cancel up to one hour prior to departure. ‘Marginal Improvements’ In May Demand: IATA
International and domestic air travel demand showed ‘marginal improvements’ in May – compared the previous month – according to IATA, but the airline industry trade association also indicated that traffic remained well below pre-pandemic levels. Air Canada has unveiled additional details of its planned international schedule for the summer of 2021, including the resumption of 17 routes and 11 destinations across the world from its hubs. Air Canada has launched non-stop service between Montreal and Kelowna. The flights operate three times weekly, increasing to four times in mid-July and five times in August. The carrier will use Airbus A220-300 equipment on the route. This new route adds to the significant impact Air Canada has on the local economy and that of the province of British Columbia as a whole.
