As part of its Worry-Free Promise, Holland America Line is extending its Flexible Cancellation Plan book-by date to May 31, 2022. The cruise line previously expanded the eligibility to cruise departures through Sept. 30, 2022. Under the Flexible Cancellation Plan, guests who make a new booking by May 31, 2022, for itineraries that depart on or before Sept. 30, can cancel for any reason and receive a Future Cruise Credit in the amount of any cancellation fees that normally would be incurred. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) lowered its COVID-19 Travel Health Notices (THN) for cruise ships yesterday (March 14) from Level 3 to Level 2. Level 2: Moderate level of COVID-19 and comes with the advice that travellers should make sure they are fully vaccinated before travel. TICO Issues Closure Advisory For Crystal Cruises
In an advisory to Ontario registrants, TICO advises that on Feb. 11, 2022, Crystal Cruises commenced an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors, an alternative to formal bankruptcy proceedings, in Circuit Court in Miami-Dade County, Florida (the “ABC Case”). All future cruises have been cancelled and no cruises will be rescheduled in the future.
