In mid-August, a fleet of tourism ships began an unprecedented, six-week expedition to the Great Bear Rainforest’s outer coast as part of the Marine Debris Removal Initiative (MDRI), a project funded by the provincial Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Strategy.

Carnival Cruise Line has sold the Carnival Fascination and Carnival Imagination, which had previously been put on long-term lay-up status and removed from published itineraries.
The company said that the sale of Carnival Fascination, launched in 1994, and Carnival Imagination, introduced in 1995, is in line with Carnival Corporation’s plan to accelerate the removal of less efficient ships from its fleet.

AmaWaterways is extending the suspension of its regular program of river cruises to Nov. 15, 2020.
The decision was announced by Rudi Schreiner, president and co-founder of AmaWaterways.
