Sunwing Takes Off From The West
Sunwing is set to take off from three Western Canada gateways. Initially, Sunwing will operate from Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary and servicing selected destinations for the winter season using a combination of seats contracted from third party carriers as well as Sunwing Airlines. Lifting Restrictions
In its latest travel restrictions report, the UNWTO found that the number of destinations closed to international tourism has continued to fall; with the report revealing that 70% of all global destinations have now eased restrictions on travel introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In comparison, just one in four destinations continue to keep their borders completely closed to international tourists. Dominican Republic Streamlines Travel Process
The Dominican Republic will be introducing a new online entry and exit form that will have to be completed by travellers beginning Nov 29. The agreement was signed in collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism, Public Health and the Customs and Immigration services.
