As the spring training home of the 2013 World Series champs, the Boston Red Sox, along with the Minnesota Twins, The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel in southwest Florida is getting set for the upcoming baseball season. Spring training begins Feb. 27, with two college exhibition games, and runs through March 29. The tentative season schedule includes 17 games at JetBlue Park, Fort Myers. Three BC photographers are featured as winners of this year’s international Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit now at the Royal BC Museum. The exhibit, from the Natural History Museum in London, features 100 winning images in huge backlit displays, selected from a field of 43,000 entries from 96 countries in 18 categories.
