Delta Hotels and Resorts has opened the Delta Kingston Waterfront Hotel in Kingston, Ont., following an extensive $10 million renovation to completely revamp the property, showcasing Delta's reinvigorated brand through modern design and innovation. SANDALS PICKS FRASER FOR LASOURCE
Sandals Resorts has picked Peter Fraser to be the general manager of its newest resort -- Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort & Spa. Currently, Fraser is the general manager of Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. In his new role, he will be responsible for bringing Sandals Resorts chairman and founder, Gordon "Butch" Stewart's vision for Sandals LaSource to life beginning in July 2013 -- six months ahead of the resort's official opening on Dec. 12, 2013. A WILDERNESS OPENING
The Canadian Adventure Company is now working on construction of its fly-in backcountry lodge, which will open for stays on Jan. 1, 2014 in BC's western Rocky Mountains. The Mallard Mountain Lodge will be set in the Mallard Valley, at an elevation of 1,921 metres, with a view of surrounding peaks. Starting winter 2013-2014, the Canadian Adventure Company will offer three-, four-, and seven-night adventures, winter and summer, to the fly-in lodge.
