Ontario’s travel registrar is advising that on March 30, 2020 the Ontario government announced that the Regulation under the Travel Industry Act, 2002, were amended to reduce the burden on Ontario’s registered travel agencies and tour operators and to enhance consumer protection for certain travellers impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Transat A.T. Inc. will be gradually suspending Air Transat flights until April 30.
The company said that its decision follows the Canadian government's announcement that the country is closing its borders to foreign nationals, as well as similar decisions by several other countries where Transat operates.
