Bermuda has announced updated COVID-19 protocols, offering new travel guidelines that will streamline the process for vaccinated travellers visiting the island by air. The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is convening an emergency session of its Executive Council in Madrid today (March 8) in response to the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation. The move follows requests from Guatemala, Lithuania, Poland, Slovenia and Ukraine for the suspension of the Russian Federation from membership of UNWTO. Ireland Lifts All COVID-19 Travel Restrictions
There was good news from Ireland to start the week. As of March 6, the popular destination has announced that all COVID-19 travel restrictions have been removed for travelling to the Republic of Ireland. Visitors will no longer need to complete a passenger locator form to travel, nor will they need proof of vaccination or recovery, or a COVID-19 test.
