The Ontario government has announced that it will require people to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of their vaccination status to access certain businesses and settings beginning Sept. 22, 2021. Riviera Nayarit Escapes Major Damage From Nora
Marc Murphy, managing director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau, reports that while Hurricane Nora made landfall in Riviera Nayarit as a Category 1 storm this past weekend, it did not cause any major damage to the hotel and tourism services. Damage to the tourist corridor and hotel establishments is minimal, except for fallen trees and garbage on the beaches due to the rains and strong waves, according to a report from the hotel associations of Banderas Bay, Compostela and San Blas. Following a review under the recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU, the Council updated the list of countries, special administrative regions and other entities and territorial authorities for which travel restrictions should be lifted.
