VIA Rail Canada’s (VIA Rail) President and Chief Executive Officer, Martin R. Landry issued the following statement yesterday regarding the travel delays and train cancellations which occurred from Dec. 23 to Dec. 26.

The Grenada Tourism Authority is reporting that for the third consecutive month its visitor arrivals have shown significant increases over the benchmark year of 2019.
Available data suggested that November 2022 is the highest ever, with a total of 14,232 visitors, representing a 17% increase over 2019 figures. December is also projected to surpass the previous high of December 2019.
