Poseidon Expeditions is reporting increasing demand from its passengers for off-ship camping in both polar regions. And in response, it has now made 40 on-land camping slots per voyage available on its Antarctica sailings. Steve Wellmeier, managing director of Poseidon’s North American sales and reservation office, observed: “Last year we had only 30 overnight slots per voyage available.
