The event will be held at Dave & Buster’s at 2021 Winston Park Dr., Unit E, Oakville, Ontario from 7 pm to 11 pm. Singapore Airlines Is Back In Canada
Beginning Dec. 3 and continuing to Feb. 15, 2022, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will operate four-times weekly seasonal services to Singapore from Seattle and Vancouver. With the inclusion of Canada and the United States under Singapore’s Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) arrangements, SIA will operate twice-weekly Seattle-Vancouver-Singapore designated VTL flights, providing eligible customers quarantine-free entry to Singapore. IATA Travel Pass Adds Six More
Etihad Airways, Jazeera Airways, Jetstar, Qantas, Qatar Airways and Royal Jordanian have announced that they will be implementing the IATA Travel Pass in a phased rollout across their networks. Air Transat has appointed Cyril Cousin as Director of Air Transat for the France, Benelux, Switzerland and Germany markets. This is a return to the Transat group for Cousin, after his departure in 2016 when Transat France was sold to the TUI group. Air travellers are becoming increasingly frustrated with COVID-19 travel restrictions, according to a new survey commissioned by IATA of 4,700 respondents in 11 markets in September 2021 and also found that there is confidence that the risks of COVID-19 can be effectively managed and that the freedom to travel should be restored. AC Set To Launch Toronto Island-Ottawa Daily
Air Canada is launching a new service between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Ottawa beginning Oct. 31, 2021. Initially, the route will offer four return trips daily, increasing to up to eight return trips daily starting in summer 2022. It came as little surprise that the major topic of discussion at this year’s hybrid IATA annual general meeting in Boston was the ongoing Coronavirus endemic and its devastating effect on global aviation.
