Silversea Cruises is returning to service in the Galapagos Islands with its new ship, Silver Origin.
The ship arrived in San Cristóbal on April 30 and it will begin its inaugural season on June 19 and full vaccinations will be mandatory for guests and crew embarking on the ship.

Holland America Line is planning to restart its cruises to Alaska in July, with roundtrip sailings from Seattle, Washington aboard Nieuw Amsterdam.

The hotel chain reopened two hotels in Jamaica (the Riu Palace Tropical Bay, in Negril, and the Riu Reggae, in Montego Bay) and its hotel in the Bahamas, the Riu Palace Paradise Island, on May 1.
