Here comes the sun! Air Canada Vacations (ACV) held its latest Sun product launch in Vaughan, Ont. last night (Sept. 19) that saw a large number of travel agents gather to meet with tour operator employees and representatives of tourist boards and other facets of the travel industry. CTO Sends US$20,000 for Bahamas Relief Efforts
The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) has made an initial monetary contribution to The Bahamas to assist with its recovery efforts in Abaco and Grand Bahama following the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian earlier this month. Chicago Sees Record-Breaking Tourism Growth
Canadian travellers to Chicago increased by 8% last year, rising from 485,000 to 524,000 visitors, says Choose Chicago. And that’s just a small slice of the international picture. Chicago also realized growth in nine of its 11 priority markets, welcoming 2.2 million international visitors, an increase of 4.9% over the previous year.
