A group of Canadian tour operator reps attended the ExploreGB travel marketplace in Brighton recently, then took part in an intensive post-conference tour that covered many key attractions in southern England, reports Press Today's Ted Davis who was on hand for the show. Germany’s First In-Transit Hotel Opens at Frankfurt Airport
Clients connecting via Frankfurt Airport now have the option to take a snooze in between flights. The newly opened MY CLOUD Hotel, located at Gate Z 25 in Terminal 1, is Germany’s first transit hotel – allowing travellers to access a room for flexible times starting at three hours – without having to leave the security zone. Switzerland tourism officials report that 2016 arrival numbers out of Canada remained strong in 2016. Jamaica is cruising and poised to be the “most significant cruise destination in the Caribbean” with 518 cruise ship port calls last year and more than two million cruisers expected in 2017.
