The German National Tourist Office and partners Lufthansa and the Chelsea Hotel hosted a trade gathering last night to celebrate Oktoberfest and talk all things Germany.
“I'm a serious person and I have some serious news to tell you about Germany,” laughed GNTO's Director, Marketing & Sales, Canada, Antje Splettstoesser. “You have to learn the proper way to say 'prost' [cheers].”
Guests at the event, held at the Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, enjoyed German food such as sausage, sauerkraut and preztels, and suds courtesy of the Mill Street Brewery.
