To celebrate its 85th anniversary, Air Canada donated its historic aircraft, an original Lockheed L-10A Electra airplane to Winnipeg's Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada.

The who’s who of Canada's travel industry teed off at the TravelBrands Annual Golf Classic at the Eagles Nest Golf Club in Maple, Ontario yesterday. And the golfers on hand for the seventh annual event were all there for a good cause.
To date, TravelBrands annual tournament has raised just over $1.5 million and its new goal is to raise $3 million.
Yesterday’s tournament raised $283,515 through sponsorships, a live auction, a silent auction and a 50/50 draw.
All net proceeds from the tournament will support the renovation of the Cardiac Operating Room at SickKids.
