YVR Hotel Workers End Rosewood Strike
Striking hotel workers at Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver have voted overwhelmingly to approve a newly negotiated contract. The Hotel Georgia was the last in a group of hotels that had been impacted by strikes that ran for as long as eight weeks during the fall. The affected hotels included the Westin Bayshore, Hyatt Regency, Pinnacle Harbourfront and Four Seasons.
